In my mind's eye, Hemingway ALWAYS has a white beard...However, I found this photo of him on the Nobel Prize Website (link to his biography there:http://nobelprize.org/nobel_prizes/literature/laureates/1954/hemingway-bio.html). I am planning to do my author search project with him as the subject because when I think of strong, "anglo" words, tangible, descriptive and real...he is the author that comes to mind...I am beginning to re-read some of his short stories to find examples representative of his style.

I think Ernest Hemmingway is a good choice for this project. Your reason for choosing him was very strong.
